Tanzania Veterinary Association (TVA) is delighted, once again, to organise the 40th Annual Scientific Conference which will be held at the Treasury Square in Dodoma-Tanzania. The main theme of the 40th Conference is “Sustainable Animal Health, Welfare, Wildlife Conservation and Livestock Production as Catalysts for Economic Development, Food Safety and Food Security”.

About This Event
This year’s conference will be the 40th of the TVA Scientific Conference series and Annual General Meetings (AGM). As usual, it is our expectation that the event will provide a forum for different stakeholders to discuss relevant subjects for the improvement of the livestock sector, public Health and other crosscutting issues relevant for Tanzania and beyond.
In addition to the conference, there will be pre-conference community services that will be offered by TVA Members in Dodoma and a parallel event during the three days of the conference that will involve exhibitions of various Agricultural and biomedical technologies that will take place in close proximity to the conference venue.
